News from the 2nd Session of the 11th National People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region that was held in Nanning that: facing the impact of global financial crisis, a group of enterprises worked hard to explore the rural and overseas market to make progress in adversity. In 2008, the sales reached 20.84 billion Yuan. The production and sales of diesel engines reached 550 thousands, a rise of 105.36%. Apart from diesel products, Yuchai Group had also made remarkable development in construction machinery, special purpose vehicle, lubricant & chemical industry, automobile parts, trade & logistics.
