With a history of over 100 years, C&C Group boasts diversified business. In July, 2023, it joined hands with Zhongtong, a subsidiary of SHIG, and won the bid for providing 120 units electric city buses for Singapore.
According to Wang Xingfu, General Manager of Zhongtong Bus, the first Zhongtong electric bus will start operation in Singapore in March this year and the delivery of all 120 units electric buses will be completed in the first half of 2025.
As one of the leading players in China’s bus making industry, Zhongtong boasts an annual production capacity of 30,000 units large- and medium-sized and light buses. So far, it has built its presence in over 100 countries and regions across the globe.
