“Women Health Express” is a public welfare program jointly launched by China Women Association, Women & Children Working Committee of China’s State Council and China Women Development Fund in 2003.
In just fifteen years, the number of vehicles operated by Women Health Express has jumped to 2,651 units. These vehicles working for 1,800-plus local medical units, have provided medical transportation services for over 66 million women across China. In the remote areas in China’s west region in particular, Golden Dragon buses operated by Women Health Express, have long been hailed as the life-saving vehicles by local people.
Since its official launch in 2003, Golden Dragon has been working with Women Health Express for 15 years.
