www.chinabuses.org: On September 20, the first Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo officially opened its curtain in Gansu Province. Themed with “Pushing forward Cultural Exchange and Seeking Cooperation and Mutual Development”, the expo has attracted visitors from many countries and regions across the globe.
Higer Oil-Electric Hybrid Bus in Service at the Dunhuang Expo
Before the expo, the organizing committee designated 20 units Higer oil-electric hybrid buses as the official carrier for all the distinguished guests. In order to be qualified for such a high-profile event, Higer has gone through several rounds of intense competition and it has successfully won the hearts of a panel of judges. During the expo, the environmentally friendly Higer bus fleet provided first-class transportation services for all the guests, leaving an indelible impression on all of them.
According to Zheng Wenhui, President of Dunhuang Zhengda Travel Automobile Company, the 20 units Higer hybrid buses were purchased in April from Suzhou. Measuring 11 meters in length, the bus has double-layered glass and creates little noise. Equipped with Michelin tires and Alcoa wheels, the bus is highly adaptable to the scorching hot weather in the city.
