According to a person-in-charge in Zhongtong South American Region, the bus maker has already received two orders from Chile this year. The first order of 20 units Zhongtong buses was already delivered to Chile customers earlier this year. Since its entry into the country, Zhongtong’s bus fleet has exceeded 500 units, becoming the most visible bus brand from China. In Paraguay, Zhongtong boasts an envious 33% market share, edging its way to the No.1 bus brand in the country.

Despite the slowing economic growth in South America, Zhongtong has been maintaining a fast growing momentum in a number of countries in the region, including Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Paraguay.
