Allowing passengers, drivers and bus operators to play a central role, the vehicle has made some revolutionary breakthroughs in terms of vehicle designs, driving mode safety standards. Take its driving mode for example, its highly integrated LED dashboard gives drivers a sedan-level driving experience. Also, thanks to its optimized wheelbase, lighter body weight, and Smart Cloud Service Platform, the vehicle achieves higher efficiency. With a bird-cage-like body structure, it elevates the safety standards of the vehicle to a unprecedented level. Guided by a design philosophy that “LESS IS MORE”, King Long 18-meter BRT bus is set to take the urban bus market by storm.

As early as 2005, King Long started its R&D work on BRT buses. As one of the leading bus manufacturers in China, King Long has successfully put its bus fleet on BRT routes in many cities both at home and abroad. After years’ cooperation with many bus operators, it has accumulated rich experience in this field. Currently, over 100 units King Long BRT buses are working smoothly in Xiamen.

Moreover, they have been exported to Iran, Peru, Australia, Argentina, etc. On December 19, 2012, 300 units 18-meter King Long BRT buses, also known as XMQ6180G, arrived in Tehran, making a new record in China’s BRT bus export history. So far, over 700 King Long BRT buses have been put on the roads in the fast-paced urban areas in Iran, long winning the hearts of local bus operators and Iranian citizens.

In response to the national government’s call for further promoting public transport, ease the traffic jams in urban areas, and build a greener environment for people, many cities in China have long launched the construction of BRT projects. BRT, which is short for Bus Rapid Transit, is an alternative to urban rail transport and it has become very popular in recent years thanks to its high efficiency, low energy consumption and low pollution rate.
