MIIT: Chineses Government to Increase Support for New Energy Vehicle and IOV

www.chinabuses.org: On November 16, Minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China Mao Weiming, attends the 16th China Hi-tech Fair "New Energy vehicle and Internet of Vehicle (IOV) Development Forum", on which he states that Chinese government will keep the strategy of new energy vehicle development and further increase support for developing of new energy vehicle and internet of vehicles.

Mao says that in 2003 Chinese vehicles sell more than 21 million units, ranking first in the world for five consecutive years. New energy vehicle industry has also gain remarkable development that in the first three quarters of 2014, domestic new energy vehicles sell 38000 units, up by 2.9 times year-on-year.

Mao adds that the vehicle industry should insist on developing new
energy vehicles, taking electric-power as the diversification strategy, focusing on electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and fuel cell vehicles, on which the government will keep politic support.
