12m Zhongtong LCK6125HQ1 Consumes 13.38L/100km

www.chinabuses.org: On May 15th, "Jiaoyun-Zhongtong Cup" Drivers Competition sponsored by Jining Labor Union, Municipal Technology Bureau, Municipal Economy and Information Commission and Jining Jiaoyun Group was held in Jining City. 36 drivers from branch companies of the Group attended the competition.

Zhongtong LCK6125HQ1 Century buses with Weichai engines were appointed as game buses. As the newly-developed luxury bus, LCK6125HQ1, based on BOVA monocoque technology, adopts Zhongtong 5S energy-saving technology.

After three-day competition, the driver Kong Fanqiang won with 13.38L/100km, the best record ever.

Zhongtong Post-doctoral Research Station has been working on the improvement of 12 aspects influencing bus fuel economy, including resistance and weight of bus body, engine matching, intake system, fuel system, cooling system, exhaust system, transmission system matching, engine parts consumption, energy-saving A/C, tire matching, maintenance and lubricating oil, etc. Data shows Zhongtong buses may save 10% of fuel.
