30 Huanghai Natural Gas City Buses Expect on Shijiazhuang

English.chinabuses.com has learnt from Shijiazhuang Public Transport Company (hereinafter referred to as SPTC) that on September 22, 600 new city buses with natural gas will go into operation, including 530 units of Huanghai natural gas buses. Then Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei province, will has 1,698 natural gas city buses, which accounts for 57 per cent of the total.
SPTC started its public purchasing for natural gas city bus in the mid-August 2009. With good local reputation, Huanghai won 530 units of natural gas city buses. Furthermore, in 2008 Huanghai sold 300 natural gas city buses to SPTC.

Shijiazhuang Public Transportation Group began to cooperate with Huanghai Bus in 2002, from then on there will be some of Huanghai buses entering Shijiazhuang every year. Currently, there are around 1000 units’ buses in Shijiazhuang, accounts for 70 percent of total market share.
