FAW:New Energy Bus Expects from Longquan Base in 2010

English.chinabuses.com: On August 26, three production bases of FAW Group Corp ( hereinafter referred to as FAW) were officially presented in Longquan area, they are FAW Fuao Base, FAW Fuwei Base and FAW New Energy Auto West-South Base. The total investment over 1bn yuan (about USD  146 million)

According to FAW, the New Energy Auto West-South Base mainly focusing on the produce, research and sale of new energy buses and coaches with FAW self-brand, FAW planing to invest up 600 million yuan (about USD 87.60 million) on this base, expecting it implements four technics systems: pressing, welding, painting and assembling.

The other two base Fuao and Fuwei will be plan to undertake the auto parts' research, produce and sales with FAW Volkswagen brand, it will be finished in August and September 2010 and the whole investment of both up to 580 million yuan (about USD 84.67 million).
