180 Eco-friendly Vehicles to Serve Summer Davos Soon

English.chinabuses.com: according to Dalian Municipal Government, in preparation for the coming Summer Davos Forum, the city has bought 10 units of Ankai all-electric luxury motorcoaches, 5 units of Ankai all-electric midibuses, 100 units of Chery hybrid taxis, 10 units of Chery all-electric rental cars, 2 units of Beiqi Foton fuel cell city buses, 10 units of FAW Besturn and 40 units of Grandeur. By the time when the Forum opens its curtain, the coastal city will boast a fleet of 180 units of new energy powered vehicles operating on its road.

Dalian BRT No.1 Line

Back in Dec. 2008, twelve units of hybrid city buses were put into service on Route 15 in Dalian, thus ushering a new stage of development in the city’s public transport sector. According to sources, the city is planning to put a fleet of 1,200 units of new energy powered vehicles on its road by 2010.
