Yuchai "Safety Month" was concluded successfully

The eighth national “Safety Month” activity was concluded successfully recently. The Conclusion and Awarding Conference of the “Safety Month” activity was held at the 1st engine plant by Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. on July 8. The attendants included leaders and supervisors responsible for safety in every organization. The purposes of the conference were to summarize the works of every organization of the company during the month to make improvements and award the models.
Yuchai Deputy manager Jiang Hai briefed the results of “Safety Month” activity of every organization within the company. During the month, through strict control, the company scored the encouraging result ---“zero accidents, zero injuries, and zero-loss”.
By careful arrangement and hard work of employees, all activities regarding the safety in production gained good outcomes. A good environment in every organization with a number of innovative highlights was created. The photo exhibition of safety organized by the Production Department, which was one key activities of the month, had attracted over 8,000 employees. The colorful pictures and rich contents allowed viewers learn more safety knowledge from accidents.
In addition, photo exhibitions of the safety practice identifications, on-site identifications and control of dangerous works, “6S” employees’ participations, dangerous chemicals, traffic safety and fire safety were highly recommended by safety expert panel from the region and the reporters of Guangxi. The application of military practice during the routine training of employees was a bright spot in the month. During the training, employees showed the spirit of Yuchai Iron Army. Other trainings or activities organized by each plant or departments also generated effective accomplishments.
