Dongfeng Rolls out Two School Bus Models

English.chinabuses.com: to meet the rising demands for school buses, Dongfeng Van Co., Ltd. recently rolled out two school bus models, namely 6810 and 6920. Equipped with seat belts, the two school bus models are both of low entry and are designed with one flat floor, which make them easily accessible for students. Another city bus rolled out by the company is 6660, which is designed to cater to the rising passenger volume between urban and rural areas.
As one of wholly owned subsidiaries of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (Dongfeng Motor, stock code: 600006), Dongfeng Van Co., Ltd. was set up on May 12, 2003. Currently, the company is chiefly engaged in developing and producing Dongfeng branded buses and bus chassis. To date, its Dongfeng Express series coach, Dongfeng Sunshine series city bus, Dongfeng Golden Lotus series intercity bus, Dongfeng Lotus series suburban bus, and Dongfeng Multi-power series all-electric bus have been well received at both home and abroad.
After successfully completing several rounds of rollover tests, Dongfeng Van Co., Ltd. received ECE-R66 registration from Europe in Mar. 2006 and thus the company has been qualified to enter European market.
