As early as 2006, the bus builder’s SC6881 won the bid in a bus purchase tendering held by a customer from the region. One year later, Changan bus won an additional order of 100 SC6881 buses thanks to its good quality and high reliability. In 2009 when the government was considering buying buses, Changan Bus again became their top candidate.
According to FENG Tielin, assistant to the General Manager of Changan Bus, the company has sent a team abroad to get a deeper understanding of the Middle East market. After conducting a comprehensive research on the climate, road conditions and bus operators’ specific needs, Changan Bus rolled out some bus models specially targeted at the Middle East market.

After its first batch of buses shipped to the region, the company immediately set up a post-market service team in the local market, which has made the local bus operators quite satisfied.
To date, the registered number of Changan buses has reached 1,000 units. The company now prides itself on the fact that not a single case of customer complaint has ever been reported so far.
