July 2009, 10 inner-industry friends led by Mr. Xiaoban Xiuming, Minister of product development & design department from Japanese J-BUS Company, came to Chongqing, China, visited Hengtong bus. Talking about the reasons for the visit, Mr. Xiaoban Xiuming said that it’s very casual. "Hengtong came into our attention is in Beijing International Exhibition on Bus and Parts, February 2009."

With a learning attitude, after more than four months constant contact, J-BUS representatives of development & design department come to China again, seek to visit and learn from Hengtong which is the first bus and gas bus manufacturer in China. Deng Ping, general manager of Hengtong gave briefings on the history and development of Hengtong bus and R & D direction. J-BUS delegates visited the modernization production line as well as Gas Institute, gas bus assembly plant centers of Hengtong. During the visit, Hengtong manager told to the representatives the details of a variety of independent research and development model features and technical advantages of Hengtong bus.

Clean and tidy workshop environment, orderly storage of materials and full enthusiasm of staff left a deep impression to J-BUS representatives. "J-BUS representatives said that the management model of Hengtong bus and innovation awareness are very worthy of learning, and hope that the two sides have the opportunity to cooperate in the future, promoting the common development of China and Japan bus.
