Reporter learned from Hubei Economic Committee that auto industry regained stability month by month because of domestic stimulation policies. Auto production&sales in the first half of the year reached 501,000 units in Hubei, up 4.7 percent year-on-year, of which, production&sales in June were 97,000 units, up 21.4 percent.
Of which, buses production&sales were 86,000 units, up 35.2 percent; SUV production&sales were 47,000 units, up 20.3 percent; cars production&sales were 191,000 units, up 12.4 percent; Vans production&sales were 177,000 units, down 14 percent year-on-year.
The output saw a rapid rise in cars and micro buses except for commercial vehicles in June, 2009.Of which, the output of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automotive Company Ltd saw a continuous rise, its output reached 23,800 units, up 32.1 percent year-on-year, it exceeded 20,000 units for the third month. Dongfeng Honda production line expanded last month, it can produce 690 units per day in this month, its output in June reached 17,000 units, up 21.7 percent year-on-year.Dongfeng Yuan micro buses output reached 164,000 units, up 78 percent year-on-year.Dongfeng Commercial Auto output reached 9,145 units, down 32.3 percent, declined for consecutively three months.
