On May 15, 2009, Li Tiansheng, general manager of Guangxi Yuchai Machine Co,.Ltd and other 5 persons accompanied paid to visit to Zhongtong Bus,and discussed the strategy cooperation issues.Shi Honggong,general manager of Zhontong Bus,and Kuang Hongtao,deputy secretary of Party Committee, Sun Guobin,deputy general manager, Zhang Xianyi, Chief of Logistics presented in the forum, and visited Zhongtong Bus production line.
At the signing ceremony, Shi Honggong, general manager of Zhontong Bus said Zhongtong Bus and Yuchai Machine deepen cooperation gradually in recent years and achieve mutual benefit. And Zhontong got great support form Yuchai in the beginning of chassis research&development .Zhongtong has output doubled every year since it began to develop&research, produce chassis in 2003, and chassis output reached more than 4,000 units in 2008, of which, 2700 units matched Yuchai products, accounted for 70 percent of the total output, Yuchai gave great support from delivery and cost control, which contributed a lot to the rapid development of Zhongtong Bus.
Yuchai is the largest production base and export base for diesel engines in China, it has achieved fast growth for several years, and its production&sales reached nearly 600,000 units in 2008, and income reached 21 billion Yuan ($3.079 billion), diesel engines exported to more than 30 countries and regions, ranked top 1 for 8 years in China.Meantime, Zhongtong Bus develops rapidly in recent years, especially its rapid development in 2008 and it outshined other enterprises in this industry.
The strategy cooperation between Zhongtong Bus and Guangxi Yuchai will help the two enterprises get through the financial crisis, and it’s also the need for the two enterprises to get together and achieve mutual benefit in the financial crisis, it will lay a solid foundation for long-term benefit and future development.
