Bonluck at Melbourne International Motor Show
After four years’ development, Bonluck branded buses & coaches produced by Jiangxi Kama Business Bus Co., Ltd. have become one of the top three brands among Benz and Scania. To better showcase its state-of-art and stylish products, Bonluck brings three new energy bus models and luxury JXK6137 to this year’s Motor Show.
Bonluck JXK6960 hybrid bus
At the show in Melbourne, Bonluck JXK6830, an all-electric bus and the winner of “Best New Energy Bus of the Year” at ACW (Asia Coach Week) in Shanghai’s 2009 Busworld Exhibition in Apr., once again becomes a shining star. With a quieter interior while in operation, JXK6830 is equipped with 672 lithium-ion batteries in nine groups. It can travel non-stop by 180 km with a max. speed of 100 km/h.
Also quite eye-catching at the show are JXK6121 and JXK6960, two hybrid bus models, developed by Bonluck in cooperation with Eaton. Equipped with Eaton hybrid driveline systems, both buses can accelerate from standstill to 50 km/h in less than 19 seconds. Moreover, they can improve fuel economy by 30% to 60%, depending on the road conditions.
Another highlight of Bonluck in this year’s Motor Show is its JXK6137, which has made its appearance at such a high-profile event for three consecutive years. Crowned with a host of honors, including BAAV Bus Innovation of the Year and the Bus of the Year 2009, Bonluck JXK6137 now boasts a quite visible presence of 200 units in the United States, becoming the most popular luxury bus from China.
