Recently, Li Dakai, general manager and president of Shannxi Fast Group, gave a speech in a seminar held by Chinese Automobile Association of Newspaper Workers about the impact of financial crisis on Chinese auto industry and Fast transmission development, though the global financial crisis is still severe, he is still confident of auto industry development in this year and next year.

Li Dakai said, though the financial crisis already had tremendous influence to the global economic, it is far from bottom, a series of dominoes phenomenon will emerge, the second round financial crisis with entity economy undergoes heavy losses will arrive in the second half of this year. It will have certain influence to Chinese economy which greatly relies on foreign trade, thus it will also have the widespread indefinite influence to China's automobile industry.
Though there are lots of difficulties, Li Dakai is still confident of Chinese automobile industry. He said:” He is confident of auto industry development in this year and next year, especially commercial vehicle industry, for the country has increased fixed asset investment to pull the domestic demand, the demand of commercial vehical, especially heavy trucks is strong.”
Li Dakai said that currently even Toyota, Honda all encounter unprecedented difficulties. Though Chinese automobile industry faces lower pressure, it still encounters lots of difficulties. For example, Fast underwent heave losses since second half of last year, transmission production and sales in the first half of last year were 330,000 units, transmission production and sales in the second half of last year were 130,000 units, transmission production and sales in October were only more than 10,000 units; Annual production and sales were 467,500 units, it did not complete the plan of production and sales 600,000 units. The situation is getting better this year, production and sales in February restored to 30,000 units, the production and sales restored to 60,000 in March, production and sales in April and May were nearly the same as in last year. Li Dakai said transmission production and sales are expected to be 500,000 units this year, production and sales 240,000 units in the first half of the year, production and sales 260,000 units in the second half of the year, Fast will maintain first in world transmission production and sales for the fourth year.
Li Dakai said, Fast with its advantage of technology leading and formalization development in transmission, opened a new pathway for enterprise's multiplex development in this year.

Li Dakai introduced that Fast Group tightly seized the country’s ” guarantee growth, structure adjustment, enlarge domestic demand” a series of development opportunity, through product mix adjustment, extends industrial chain, strengthens scientific management, fully displays enterprise innovation superiority, technical superiority, brand superiority and fund superiority, constantly speeds up the product mix adjustment and the optimization upgrading, fully enlarges Fast transmission new products leading position in the market.
Currently, Fast has possessed 600,000 units heavy transmission production capability. The company accumulatively completed industrial output value and sales revenue more than 2.6 billion yuan ($381,000,000); auto transmission production and sales were 196,700 and 197,200 units respectively, fully meets market demand. “All these prove that there are only weak products, but not weak market.” said Li Dakai.
Li Dakai said proudly:” The reason why Fast has become the largest heavy transmission production base in the world from a unknown company is because of independent innovation; The reason why double intermediate shaft transmission develops from single series 3 varieties to today's more than 20 series several hundred varieties is also because of independent innovation.Now,Fast has formed double intermediate shaft series transmission ,with single intermediate shaft series transmission as auxiliary, has formed the pattern of high,medium,low heavy transmission supplementary development .4~16 transmission domain has realized omnibearing cover, widely match input torque 300~3000 N.m, load-carrying capacity between 2~60 tons all kinds of auto types; Fast transmission accounts for 80 percent of 8 tons above china made heavy auto market, accounts for 90 percent of 15 tons above china made heavy auto market, and it also exports to more than 10 countries and regions. All these make us feel more confident of Fast and Chinese auto industry.
