Wuhan Aims to Up NEV Production Capacity to 600,000 in 10-Year

English.chinabuses.com: recently, Wuhan Municipal Government Development and Reform Commission disclosed that the city has already mapped out a blueprint to develop new energy vehicle industry and will increase its annual production capacity of new energy powered vehicles to 600,000 units, thus realizing an industrial commodity output value of RMB 80 billion (about USD 11.7074 billion).

In the next decade, Wuhan Municipal Government is planning to nurture eight to ten leading enterprises involved in building complete CNG (compressed natural gas), hybrid, all-electric and fuel-cell vehicles as well as businesses engaged in manufacturing related parts & accessories. By 2020, a comprehensive industrial chain for NEV sector is projected to be well established.
