Luc Glorieux, the initiator of BAVV, accompanied by the project director Hu Yuhong, visited Zonda buses in Yancheng on 18th June. Xu Liankuan, president of Zonda Group, Xu Zicai, the executive vice director, Ma Xian, the general manager, and Wang Meihong, the general manager of Zonda International Co. Ltd welcomed the visiting guests at the base.
Luc delegation firstly visited Zonda bus manufacturing base. President Xu Liankuan introduced the recent development of Zonda bus, mainly presented the R&D process of Zonda Qinshan pure electrical bus with three feathers, including long-lasting running, low power consumption and long charging and discharging time. The three core technologies have been issued the certificate of patent. In addition, Xu Liankuan emphasized that the core value of pure electrical bus is in its replacement for traditional energy and zero emission.
As referring to the industrialization and scale production of new energy bus, Xu Liankuan showed that the long-lasting running is the competitive strength of pure electrical bus which laid a solid foundation to realize industrialization. Zonda bus will take the advantage of the chance brought by Adjustment and Planning of Bus Industry to speed up the development of Zonda pure electrical bus under the guidance of Yancheng government.
In the group meeting room, President Xu Liankuan and Mr Luc discussed the development and the trend of global new energy bus and exchanged the views about the future development strategy of Zonda bus. Luc showed that China’s new energy bus technology has reached the world leading level and it is astonishing in the state-of-the-art technologies of the battery, motor and controller. Mr Luc also expressed that by the visiting, world bus Union and Zonda bus became know each other more deeply, enhanced the mutual friendly cooperative relationship. Mr Luc said that he is expected to further cooperate with Zonda Group.
