News from Bridgestone (China) shows that it decides to increase radial passenger tire production capacity at its Wuxi factory, Jiangsu province, eastern part of China. Bridgestone predicts the demand of radial passenger tire will gradually increase in Chinese tire market in the near future because of the auto rapid development in China.

Bridgestone plans to start increased production at the Wuxi Plant beginning the second half of 2011. It plans a total investment of U.S.$98 million, which will enable it to increase daily production by 4,200 units, giving the plant an estimated daily output of 12,000 units once production capacity has been increased.
