English.chinabuses.com: on Jun. 7, 2009, CHEN Gang, Secretary of Liuzhou Municipal Committee of CPC, led a team visiting SG Automotive Group based in Liaoning. As one of the accomplishments of the tour, a framework agreement was reached between the two parties, according to which, SG Automotive will put Liuzhou as its strategic market in southwest China and is going to set up Liuzhou Huanghai Automotive Industrial Park in the city located in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

In addition, it is planned that the new automotive industrial park to be built in Liuzhou will boast an annual production capacity of 10,000 units of large- and medium-sized buses & coaches and 100,000 units of pickups. In the meantime, a host of parts & accessories manufacturers are expected to set their home in the park.
The two parties have agreed that the establishment of the park will generate win-win results for both sides. SG Automotive Group will enjoy a number of favorable policies offered by Guangxi government.
Set up in 1984, SG Automotive Group has evolved into a well recognized enterprise in China with two widely known brands, Huanghai Bus, SG axle and other parts & accessories. Its products range from commercial vehicles, passenger cars, special vehicles, axles, to other parts & accessories. To build its production base in Liuzhou, the group will further enhance its presence in Southern China and facilitate its expansion in southeast Asia market.
