Recently, Foton AUV Bus Company (hereinafter referred to as Foton AUV) signed a sales contract with India-based Ashok Leyland Ltd. for providing 750 units of Foton AUV buses (KD-based chassis). With each unit priced at USD 22,500, the contract is valued at USD 16,875,000 in total.
The two parties also agreed that the buses are to be delivered on FOB (free on board) terms. Foton AUV will hand its bus products to the buyer within 150 days after the sales contract goes into effect. The payment is to be made by entirely by revolving L/C.
The deal, boasting a large sum of money, is expected to further promote the overseas expansion of Foton AUV bus.
