On May 14, 2009, a grand ceremony was held in Yantai to mark the opening of 2009 Northern China Tourism Fair (NCTF). Jointly initiated by ten provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in Northern China, the fair has become one of the three most important tourism fairs by gaining wider participation of travel agencies from both home and abroad after 14 years development.
Yantai Shuchi Bus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shuchi Bus) was selected as the sole transport service provider for about 70,000 representatives and visitors from China and ten foreign countries.
Having obtained special certificate from Russia in 2005, Shuchi YTK6126 and YTK6106 have long won the hearts of drivers and passengers thanks to their stylish appearance and high fuel economy. It has been widely tested that both bus models built by the company only consume 22 liters of gasoline per 100 km.
On display at the fair is a Shuchi bus model measuring less than 7.3 meters long, which with rear mounted engine, has been the only bus model of the category passing the evaluation conducted by Ministry of Transport (MOT). Moreover, the bus grabbed “China Road Transport Cup” Best Road Bus Award in 2009.
