JAC CV Makes a Splash Shanghai Auto Show

At Shanghai International Auto Show held in late Apr., JAC Commercial Vehicle (CV) Branch brought its 12 models, including light-duty trucks, heavy-duty trucks, coach chassis, pickup and electric light-duty trucks, etc., presenting the public with the best of the 45 year old indigenous vehicle maker. Among its exhibits, electric light-duty truck was making its first appearance, showcasing the R&D fruits of the company in terms of new energy vehicles.
The whole spectrum of products are catering to different markets, including “Shuailing” (high-end light-duty truck market), “Weiling” (medium- and long-distance logistic market), “Junling” and “Kangling” (the medium- and high-end market) and “Haoyun” (rural and urban market).
For many years, JAC light-duty trucks have been among the mainstream products thanks to their cutting-edge technologies and high quality. Despite of the dire economic situation in 2008, JAC produced and sold 110,000 units of light-duty trucks, ranking the second place in the industry. By taking advantage of the government’s favorable policy, the company sold 33,000 units light-duty trucks in the first quarter of 2009, up by 141.37% as against the previous quarter.
