Naveco Delivers All-electric Coaches to Shanghai Expo

Recently at the ongoing Shanghai Auto Show, Nanjing Iveco Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Naveco) handed 20 PowerDaily light-duty electric coaches to Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
Apart from its advantages like 100% environmental friendliness and stable performance, the pure-electric coach is capable of an operating range of over 200 km after one full charge. Moreover, its power consumption per 100 km is only about 40kW/h.
In 2009, Naveco plans to churn out 300 all-electric coaches. Apart from supplying its products to Shanghai Expo, the bus builder also provides its buses & coaches to National Power Grid and other enterprises.
Currently, Naveco boasts an annual production capacity of over 20,000 buses & coaches. In comparison, the production volume of its all-electric coaches is relatively small. However, according to ZHOU Liang, General Manager of Naveco, the situation is improving gradually.
In the future, Naveco will take full advantage of Iveco’s extensive global marketing networks to further enhance its overseas expansion.
