www.chinabuses.org:  According to the statistics data from 97 bus builders, the market demand on buses and coaches obviously decreased. In the first seven months, the sales of buses exceeds 200,000 units and year-on-year growth speed lows down compared with first half of 2010.

 

 

 

In July, it sells 31,700 buses, month-to-month growth falling 12.14%, year-on-year growth of 22.49% and sales-output ratio of 103.80%. Compared with last month, the decreasing rate of large-sized buses is obvious, and then light buses and medium-sized buses. Compared with the same period of last year, the growth range of large-sized buses is obvious, and then light buses and medium-sized buses. Large-sized buses: sales of 5882 units, month-to-month growth falling 14.82%, year-on-year growth of 47.01% and sales-output ratio of 97.27%; Medium-sized buses: sales of 5777 units, month-to-month growth falling 9.95%, year-on-year growth of 4.62% and sales-output ratio of 94.18%; Light buses: sales of 20058 units, month-to-month growth falling 11.94%, year-on-year growth of 22.53% and sales-output ratio of 109.16%. 

 

 

 

In Jan.-Jul, the accumulated sales of buses is 227,700 units (37,700 large-sized coaches, 39,900 medium-sized buses and 150,100 light buses), year-on-year growth of 36.29% and sales-output ratio of 102.29%. In sales regions, the sales growth speed of buses in China six regions all decreases to different degree compare with first half of this year, and it remains the overall steady growth, in particular, North China, East China and South-central. It sells 65,300 units, year-on-year growth of 38.93% in East China; 34,900 units, year-on-year growth of 35.74% in South-central; 32,900 units, year-on-year growth of 49.17%in North China; 20,100 units, year-on-year growth of 32.29% in Southwest China; 18,100 units, year-on-year growth of 13.40% in Northeast China and 14,100 units, year-on-year growth of 29.22% in Northwest China.

 

 

 

In Jan.-Jul., minibus: sales of 97,200 units, Y/Y growth of 31.27%; city bus: sales of 32,200 units, Y/Y growth of 24.17%; long-haul bus: 39,700 units, Y/Y growth of 43.13%; tourist coach: 13,300 units, Y/Y growth of 83.25%; special bus: 3,032 units, Y/Y growth of 81.45% and articulated bus: sales of 37 units, Y/Y growth decreasing of 72.99%.

 

 

 

In July, the ranking of China bus builders for sales as followed: Brilliance Jinbei (6397 units), JMC (3993 units), Yutong (3019 units), Naveco (2525 units), King Long (2034 units), Beiqi Foton (1979 units), Golden Dragon (1736 units), Higer (1699 units), Shaolin (927 units) and Zhongtong (771 units). Compared with last month, the sales of King Long, Higer and Golden Dragon slightly increases while the sales of other companies decreases to different degree, especially Brilliance Jinbei, Yutong and Naveco. The total sales volume of 10 companies mentioned above is 25,100 units, accounting for 79% of total.

 

 

 

In Jan.-Jul, the ranking of China bus builders for sales as followed: Brilliance Jinbei (47,900 units), JMC (28,500 units), Yutong (20,000 units), Naveco (19,400 units), Beiqi Foton (16,100 units), King Long (12,700 units), Golden Dragon (11,400 units), Higer (11,000 units), Shaolin (6200 units) and Zhongtong (4700 units). The total sales volume of 10 companies mentioned above is 177,900 units, accounting for 78% of total.
