“In accordance with increasingly strict emission standard, the injection pressure should be raised and electric control system should be used. The common rail system will be one of the future mainstreams,” said by Wang Weiliang in an interview by Gasgoo. Wang Weiliang is General Manager of Bosch Automotive Diesel System Co., Ltd and President of Bosch Diesel System Division (China).
Bosch has been engaged in developing modern common rail systems and tail gas aftertreatment systems. Its products have extensive applications in passenger, business and non-road vehicles.
In Chinese market, Bosch develops an exclusive economic common rail system CRS1-16 suitable for light business vehicles. With respect to aftertreatment system, Bosch takes SCR as a key development technology thanks to its sulfur-resistance and low costs in response to limited supply of low sulfur in current Chinese market.
As China Ⅳ Standard is carried out, emission will be upgraded and the demand for products meeting China Ⅳ Standard will increase such as booster, aftertreatment system and high-pressure electric control common rail, etc. At the same time, products not compliant with the standard and their suppliers will be weeding out. “China Ⅳ Standard for business vehicle will inevitably get updated. As a diesel system supplier, we are ready,” Wang Weiliang said.
