Yuchai Engines Well Received in Indonesia

www.chinabuses.org: On April 22nd - April 25th, eight 12m Golden Dragon buses equipped with Yuchai YC6L330-30 engines were having trial run from MAKARSA to PALU, a round-trip 1300km mountain roads. 

Sulawesi is the third largest island of Indonesia and most of the 3000km roads are mountain roads. In the past ten years, SCANIA has taken 80% of local bus market, especially 12m buses equipped with 380hp engines.

This trial run turned out that Golden Dragon bus with Yuchai YC6L330-30 engine was comparable to 380hp SCANIA bus. NEW LIMAN Company decided to purchase 50 more Golden Dragon buses due to their good performance.

Yuchai YC6L -series bus engines will fill the market vacancy between SCANIA and BENZ&Hino with perfect combination of power and economy. It's said Yuchai local office will work with the distributors to grasp more market shares.
