Facing 10-year achievements, President of Weichai Tan, Xuguang stressed the significance of independent innovation to the company, while being grateful to the stable social environment and reform & opening-up. He said: "Independent innovation is the soul of Wechai."
Data shows that Weichai has developed over 5800 new products and spare parts with 633 patents, and participated in 19 national 863 programs and 23 national standards setting.

Director of Weichai New-energy Technology Center Han, Erliang was introduced to the company from American GM Company in 2010, who was responsible of establishing the R&D team of the Center. There are 65 top talents like Mr. Han in Weichai. The company holds the technology innovation conference every year and in 2012, the company rewarded the innovation talents with CNY 25 million.
Mergers and Acquisitions - "going overseas" and relocation
On September 3rd, 2012, Weichai signed the agreement with German KION Group to invest EUR 738 million for 25% shares of the Group and 70% shares of Linde Hydraulics.
In January 2012, Weichai purchased European largest luxury yacht manufacturer - Italian Ferretti Group. In December 2008, Weichai purchased 130-year-old French Moteurs Baudouin.
Up to now, Weichai has established global operation centers in America, France, Italy and Singapore. The company has offices in 22 countries, over 100 after-sale service stations and the products have been exported to over 80 countries and regions.
