As the heart of the bus, engine is non-ignorable. General Manager Assistant of Yuchai Company Zhou Chuanwu told the report of www.chinabuses.com "From January to April, over 6,000 Yuchai school bus engines were sold."
Deputy Chief Engineer Cui Huabiao said: "Yuchai started developing school bus power long time ago and made great efforts on the safety. For example, Yuchai school bus power is equipped with engine braking, different from normal 5-6 buses which are not. Furthermore, anti-corrosion technology, wire processing, high-temperature isolation and shock absorbing technology, etc are used in Yuchai school bus power."
