At the invitation of TAN, Xuguang, Remy CEO John Weber visited Weichai with two colleagues. TAN introduced the development of Weichai these years and he said Weichai had become the whole-series supplier from general engine supplier and built the world’s leading engine platform of whole-series and whole-range. He also expected to promote their partnership to further development based on win-win and overall situation because Remy was a famous enterprise and both sides shared broad room for cooperation.
TAN put forward three suggestions on cooperation: (1) adhere to the comprehensive strategic partnership and strengthen consultation and coordination on major issues to deepen mutual trust with both advantages for long-term development; (2) attach great importance to China market due to its economic growth for the next ten years and cope with the cultural diversity and new development issues properly; (3) strengthen communication for it’s only the communication and equal treatment that produces success in different systems and development patterns.
John Weber agreed with these ideas. He said Remy was expecting to cooperate with China enterprises for further development and he would like to promote mutual cooperation by strengthening communication and mutual trust.
