In this Universiade, nearly 3000 buses were equipped with Yuchai engines and most of the new buses arrived at Shenzhen by the end of July and at the beginning of August, which entered service with Universiade immediately. So many new buses were delivered in such a short time, making Yuchai confront with higher demand for service assurance as much as that of Guangzhou Asian Games.
In late June, staff from Yuchai Customer Service Center worked with Guangdong Office staff to investigate all the playing fields and visit the main service stations like Xinxuanda, Basic, Xianghuajie, Defang and Huanyu for the service assurance situation control, the difficulty analysis and the plan-making. From July 25th, experienced engineers were sent to Shenzhen for preparation. On August 2nd, service engineers were all in position.
In order to help customers get to know the new engines, most of which were used this time, Yuchai service team conducted training and vehicle inspection, especially to service stations and key vehicles of bus companies. Up to August 10th, all the training and inspection were complete. Deputy general manager of Yuchai Sales Company and director of customer service center ZHANG, Ting led a team and inspected the whole assurance work. He said: ”what the service team concerns about is not only the Universiade, but also Yuchai’s smooth return to Shenzhen market through this service.”
Yuchai service team members said that they would guarantee the vehicle service passionately, scrupulously and effectively.
