In accordance with the statistics, in 2010, the number of calculative delivery of Foton Cummins Engine to Russian GAZ company is 4182. As of April 15th, 2011, the number of calculative delivery is 10000, ranking first in the export of the high-end light diesel engine.
Foton Cummins ISF series engines use the high-pressure common rail system with electric control, exhaust gas turbo-charged bypass valve, the new engine filters emission control, innovative structure, thermal management system and electronic integration and many other advanced technology, power and emission that meets the Euro Ⅳ standard. At the same time, it uses the new generation Cummins turbo-charged system and module design. The components are only 70% of the similar products which are stable and easy to maintain. The whole vehicle has passed the limitation test of 1.6 million kilometers durability and “three-high” and the result turned out to be high stability and durability, thus high performance is guaranteed.
The characteristic, such as electronic integration default monitoring, cruise control,theft deterrent and many other electric control functions, has protected the engine the vehicle from damaging. Also, the combined consumption decreasing by 8%, 20,000 km service intervals and 18 months (160 thousand km) warranty are its characteristics too. All the above mentioned features are in line with the need of the Russian market.
