The Sales Income of Weichai Power Possibly Breaks 85 billion Yuan

www.chinabuses.org: On 2 December 2010, the annual business meeting of Weichai Power 2011 was held in Jinan, Shandong province, which is themed by "Challenging the Objective of World No.1" and the representatives from almost 2000 dealers, service providers and partners home and abroad attended this meeting.
Since 2010, Weichai Power made great sales achievements again. As of the end of this November, it has got the sales income of 81 billion Yuan RMB, year-on-year growth of 63% and taxes of 11.5 billion Yuan, year-on-year growth of 98%. It is predicted that Weichai Power possibly breaks the income of 85 billion Yuan, referring to 750,000 engines for the whole year, year-on-year growth of 102％, furthering consolidating the position of the biggest high-speed engine provider in the world.
In the past 12 years, the sales income of Weichai Power increases from 500 million Yuan to 85 billion Yuan and it became one of China manufacturing group with comprehensive capability. It is known that during the period of the twelfth five-year plan, Weichai Power plans to invest more than 10 billion Yuan for technology development, including 2 billion Yuan for the construction of the national product center and lab and 5 billion Yuan for technical upgrading and improvement as well as international industrial park. In addition, the new energy industry alliance of commercial vehicles and engineering machinery has started the operation, which consists of Weichia Power and 18 companies, colleges and institutions through the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
