Yuchai: Prosperity in International Market

www.chinabuses.org: As one of the famous diesel engine producer in China, Yuchai made great achievement in overseas sales in 2010. As of the end of September in 2010, the exporting volume of Yuchai engines has exceeded 25000 units, year-on-year growth of 60%.
It is known that the exporting engines are mainly used for trucks and also equipped with the domestic mainstream buses such as Higer and King Long for mass production. Yuchai has exported products to the countries such as Vietnam, Cuba, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Peru, Turkey, Philippine and India, in particular, ASEAN ( the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ). The market maintenance of Yuchai products in ASEAN market has exceeded 54,000 units.
Basically, the exporting Yuchai diesel engines comply with the requirements for EuroⅢ and Euro Ⅳ and have gradually entered the developed counties in North America, South Europe, South Korea and Singapore.
For brand construction and overseas market, Yuchai formed overseas marketing department and offices in July 2009 to realize the overseas strategy objective. At present, it has 13 offices, over 30 dealers, components providing and after-sales points in more than 50 counties. The company offers after-sales service mainly through the local dealers and expatriate staff’s regular visiting.
Since 2009, Yuchai has strengthened the construction of overseas service network and improved service of the dealers in overseas market. In the meantime, the company focused on engineers’ training and dispatched engineers to overseas market for service to further enhance service capability.
