www.chinabuses.org: On 20 Jan.2010, Michelin announced to launch XZA 2 Energy and XTE 2, two kinds of energy-efficient truck tires specially designed for the Chinese customers. XZA 2 Energy currently is the only green tire with inner tube in the domestic long-haul transport market.  XTE 2 is the first special trailer duals tire with stronger puncture and flat spot resistant. It is no doubt that these two models offer the Chinese customers more creative solutions in terms of the tight fuel prices and heavy cost pressure.

XZA 2 Energy is the radial ply tire with inner tube and Michelin Energy technology for high-speed long haul transport. The special rubber compound and threadwear design effectively reduce the rolling resistance, meanwhile, the refurbishment can greatly prolong the use life. The sizes of 10.00R20,11.00R20 and 12.00R20 cover the most of the tube market. The first launch of Michelin XZA 2 Energy in China not only provides the energy saving solution based on the current market, but also shows the great attention to the Chinese market.

XTE 2 owns stronger tread shoulder and thread of tire for trailers. According to the data, the trailers take 30% of the trucks on the highway, so it will supply a creative low cost and high efficiency tire solution to a big extent.
