Weichai Power Ranks in the 2008 Top 100 Chinese Listed Co.

www.chinabuses.org :"The Hero in the Crisis--the Ninth Summit Forum of Chinese Top 100 Listed Company" hosted by the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, Warton Economic Institute and the magazine of "Economy Shanghai" was held in Beijing on 1 December 2009. Meanwhile, Weichai Power Ranks in the "2008 top 100 Chinese Listed Company" and Tan Xuguang, the Chairman of the Weichai Power was awarded as "The Leader of the Chinese Top 100 Listed Company".
"2008 top 100 Chinese Listed Company" takes the total profit amount as the important index and the rank is based on the income of the main business, total assets, market value and market value added(MVA). The index system presents not only the scale of the listed company, but also the profitability as well as the development potential. Weichai Power Co.,Ltd. ranks the 50th with the total profit amount of about 401 million USD and the 33rd with the income of main business respectively. It is the only domestic engine manufacturer with this honor.
Tan Xuguang, the Chairman of Weichai was awarded as "The Leader of the Chinese Top 100 Listed Company" with his extraordinary management capability and social responsibility in the leading of the sound development of the company and the promotion of the whole industry.
