FAST: Focus on High Quality Production in 2010

www.chinabuses.org: "2010 FAST Technology Service Meeting” was held in Jinan on December 9, 2009. Sales volumes of the first eleven months this year are 6,782,000,000 yuan (about 993,000,000 USD), up 10.43% year on year; gross industrial output are 6,909,000,000 yuan (about 1,011,000,000 USD), up 11.72% year on year; 481,519 gearboxes were produced and sold out, up 11.88% year on year. All operational indicators keep rapid increasing, the highest in history. Production and sales volumes of FAST gearbox will be over 500,000 units with seven billion yuan (about 1,025,000,000 USD) revenues, and its production and sales volumes of heavy gearbox rank the first around the globe for the third year.
FAST have 1,349 technology service stations, including 365 special service stations and 984 entrusted service stations. Currently, FAST service system has covered the whole China so as to guarantee fast service.
In 2009, annual plan of 480,000 units and 6,800,000,000 yuan (about 995,000,000 USD) has been finished ahead of schedule; 12 speed, and 16 speed products increase rapidly; product research and development for short term, medium term and long terms is going smoothly; they have invested over one billion yuan in Xi’an High-tech Industrial Park 33,000 square meters new plant and Baoji Aluminium alloy Foundry Production Line and Die-casting Production Line in Baoji Foundry Factory, as well as national enterprise technology research center and two kilometers long round multi-functional testing track.
Referring to development plan in 2010, Chairman Li Dakai said that capacity of domestic heavy vehicles market is 680,000 ~ 700,000 units and FAST aims to sell 600,000 gearboxes with sales revenues reaching eight billion yuan (about 1,171,000,000 USD).
