Auto Parts Giants Emerge Soon

www.chinabuses.org: Currently, there are more than 4,000 component companies in China and most of them are small and low-level manufacturers. China's domestic auto components industry remains too fragmented and weak to independently support fast development of vehicle production. Furthermore, the global financial crisis is lingering and it is impacting many auto parts companies. According to related statistics show that nearly 10 percent component manufacturers are eliminated.
According to the Chinese Government's short-term plans, it will form some "internationally competitive" major groups over the next few years, with the consolidation of local components producers. The government has also set a target that the export share of domestic components companies will exceed 40 percent of its total sale by 2010. The sale of Chinese auto parts will enter the fast lane at that time.
