According to import&export statistics provided by the customs, sorted out by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, analysis of Transmission System parts &components import&export in May 2009 is as follow:

First, Transmission System parts &components export  

Auto Transmission System parts &components export reached 97 million U.S. dollars in May, 2009, down 29.27 percent compared with the same period last year. Auto Transmission System parts &components export reached  432 million U.S. dollars from Jan. to May, 2009, down 24.42 percent compared with the same period last year. Auto Transmission System parts &components products from Jan. to May  mainly exported to: the United States, South Korea, Japan, United Arab Emirates and so on.

Second, Transmission System parts &components import

 
Auto Transmission System parts &components import reached 355 million U.S. dollars in May, 2009, down 14.79 percent compared with the same period last year. Auto Transmission System parts &components import reached 1.53 billion U.S. dollars from Jan. to May, 2009, down 17.49 percent compared with the same period last year. Auto Transmission System parts &components products from Jan. to May mainly imported countries were: Japan, Germany, South Korea, the United States, France and so on.
