Auto Tires Output Up 22% in Zhangjiagang Port

According to the Zhangjiagang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, 2,120,000 units auto tires were inspected from Jan. to May, amount to nearly 470,000,000 US dollars, up 17 percent and 22 percent respectively year-on-year.
It is reported that Zhangjiagang auto tires export enterprises encounter lots of difficulties because of the global financial crisis. In the second half of last year, Nangang (Zhangjiagang bonded area) Rubber Industry Limited Company once dropped tires daily output from 25000 units to 10000 units, the products were overstocked. In view of this, Zhangjiagang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, based on the requirements of “quality and safe year”, combined with “serve enterprise, booster development” ,timely launched appointment examination and quarantine, opened green passage, tried out 24 hour working system , sped up the enterprise clearance speed, reduced enterprise logistic cost, helped the enterprise to get through the difficulties. This situation was getting better in January this year, currently, Nangang tires daily output rose to 25,000 units as it was before the financial crisis, the enterprise regains normal development.
