According to the customs, CKD export continuously declined in the first quarter of this year, however, parts&componets export was getting better. Engines, parts&componets export regain stability instead of dropping, rise in export is obviously higher than import. Of which, engines export 161,200 units, up by 37．55％ as against last month,parts,accessories and body export 1.048 billion U.S. dollars, up by 59．92％ as against last month.
The international financial crisis leads to the shrinking of European, American and Japanese auto markets, new auto sales greatly decline, consumers have to postpone their plans for buying new autos, therefore, they can only rely on the maintenance and parts replacement, which are good for the after-sale parts&components markets.
Some of parts&components enterprises in America and Europe bankrupted because of the financial crisis, therefore, some parts&components orders come to China, where the production cost is low.
Industry restructuring will also provide opportunities for enterprises. Because of the policy stimulus,mini-bus sales up by 43．36％ y/y, sales of autos with emission below 1.0 L up by 18．62％ from January to April this year. Mini-autos, mini-buses are low cost autos, which provide opportunities for domestic parts&components matching.
China’s parts&components enterprises face a very good growth opportunities, but if we do not solve the internal problems, such as cost structure, products structure, as well as research and development capability, it is still difficult for our enterprises to resist the competition in the world.
