Inteva Products Purchases ArvinMeritor's Body Systems Business

www.chinabuses.org:Inteva Products, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Renco Group, Inc., has formally announced that is has purchased ArvinMeritor's Body Systems business, including the manufacturing and engineering facilities over the world. With the acquisition, Inteva further consolidates its competitive position of the global leading auto doors systems and access control systems supplier and extends auto roof systems, electronics and motors.

"We are acquiring a team of experts in body systems, which own approved professional competence, advanced technologies, rich experience and diverse customer resources. Inteva is a formidable force in the global marketplace."
With the acquisition, Inteva has 8,000 employees at 43 regions in 18 countries. Inteva has engineering and technical centers on four continents, which supply global customers with full service design, development, integration, prototype, testing and validation capabilities.
Mr. Offenbacher said "Our extending and product portfolio greatly enhances our business with a stronger presence in Europe, Asia and the Americas and also our overall business is now more balanced to support our global customers. In the regions where growth is expected, we have carried on strategic planning."
Inteva's innovative products refer to a variety of industries including automotive, commercial vehicle, defense, consumer and recreational products, industrial and marine applications. Its major product and service lines are closure systems, interior systems, roof systems and motors and electronics.
