SASAC to Invest 100 Billion Yuan for New Energy Vehicles

It is revealed that SASAC ( State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission ) will set up "alliance of state-owned new energy automotive companies" within August.

 

At the end of this July, the number of pilot cities has increased from 20 to 25. As of press time, it is known from related departments that Shenyang, Chengdu, Nantong,Xiangfan and Hohhot have been new nominated cities for new energy vehicles.

 

According to the "Development Plan of Energy-saving and New Energy Automobile Industry",the central finance will take 100 billion Yuan for the development of energy-saving and new energy automobile industry chain. Meanwhile, more attraction on pilot cities for new energy auto corporations increases through the policy of "the specific management measures of subsidy are made sure based on the actual conditions in pilot cities".

 

State Grid announced that 75 charging stations for electric vehicles and 6209 charging poles would be built up, covering 27 provinces and cities. In addition, Sinopec showed that it would take Beijing as pilot city, establish large-sized fuel/gas/electricity comprehensive service stations and increasingly promote to the whole city even the country. CNOOC will set up charging stations in more than two provincial capitals.

 

It is from authoritative source that "By 2012, the 'alliance of state-owned new energy automotive companies' will increase the investment on new energy vehicles to 100 billion Yuan. The possibility of the combination of the assets of individual unit to alliance is not removed." "Based on the related regulation, national subsidy is 4 Yuan/ km for electric bus and 3 Yuan/km for diesel bus. At present, the operation cost of electric bus is higher than that of diesel one. There exists the national subsidy for electric bus are applied in some cities where diesel buses ran." He said, "The management decides to make independent operation for electric bus in pilot city to accumulate related experience and solve the above mentioned problem."
