www.chinabuses.org: Automobile Business Dept. for Europe of Foton Motor Group, namely, Foton Motor (Russia), held the inauguration ceremony in Moscow on 24 June. Guo Jinlong, the Mayor of Beijing municipal and Yuri Luzhkov, the Moscow mayor attended it together.

Foton AUV hybrid power bus donated to Moscow

On the inauguration ceremony, Automobile Business Dept. for Europe of Foton Motor Group signed the memorandum of understanding with Moscow government. Mayor Guo donated two Foton AUV hybrid power buses to Moscow and he showed that there have been almost a thousand  of Foton AUV buses in operation in Beijing with good condition. So we donated this model to Moscow. It is known that the fuel consumption is only 29.5 liter per hundred kilometers. Compared with the conventional bus, it reduces 30% fuel, 40% nitrogen oxide emission and 30% micelles emission. When test riding, Yuri Luzhkov said that it was certain that this model could made contribution to the environment protection of Moscow with comfortable riding as well as energy-saving. Wang Jinyu, the representative of CEO of Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. showed that Green scientific and technological innovation was the soul of Foton and hoped that Foton could contribute to clean city traffic in Moscow.
