Beiqi Group May Expand Bus Department

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from private sources that Beiqi Group plans to purchase Golden Dragon Bus.

 

Golden Dragon Bus is held by Kinglong Automobile. Xiamen Kinglong Automobile was founded in 1988, and it was list in Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1993. Currently their total assets amounts to 8,080,000,000 RMB (182,730,000 USD). And it owns Kinglong Bus, Golden Dragon Bus as well as Higer Bus, all are the best bus builders in China.

 

It is reported recently that since sales of Golden Dragon Bus are being gliding in the recent two years, the private shareholder is going to quit. Xiaman Kinglong Automobile takes 60% of Golden Dragon Bus.

 

Xiamen Kinglong Group declared that it will produce A+ passenger vehicles with the original light bus production lines with investment of 134,040,000 RMB (19,620,000 USD). It is not clear Beiqi Group is going to buy Kinglong Group shares in Golden Dragon Bus or to produce passenger vehicles with Xiamen Kinglong Group.
