www.chinabuses.org: The construction of a new energy vehicle industrial park has been accelerated in National Hi-tech New Zone in Changzhou and it plans that the production base referring to electric bus, low speed mini electric vehicle, battery packs and related industry chain will be built up in 2012 and the annual production of 100,000 vehicles as well as auto parts will be formed.

It is known that Changzhou Huanghai Automobile and Changzhou Haojue Suzuki Motor Company have moved into this industrial park. At present, the cooperation intention between Changzhou Huanghai Automobile and CSR Times Electric Co., Ltd. has been made in assets as well as technology and the preliminary work such as assessment has been implemented. Both parties will create the base of hybrid power and electric medium-sized and large-sized buses together, based on the advantages of vehicle manufacturing technology as well as market operation from Huanghai and key components, power train system and core technology of electric vehicles from CSR Times.

According to the related policies about the promotion of new energy vehicles, the Industrial Park will fully support the companies to develop the hybrid power and electric buses with independent intellectual property and first try the demonstration operation of hybrid power buses in the park.
