According to the plan, Jilin province will rely on the companies such as FAW, focus to promote the platform of FAW-VW PQ35、PQ46, the extension of FAW autonomous cars, the construction of new basis of Jiefang trucks and the project of 200,000 units of Changchun branch of Zhongxing Automobile Co., Ltd., closely watch the joint ventrure cooperation of Volkswagen, Mazda and Toyota, consolidate the independent development system and actively develop the autonomous brand such as Hongqi, Besturn and Jiefang. It plans to realize the new capacity of 1000,000 complete vehicles with new assets of about 1.2 billion USD. The production capacity comes to 1440,000 units in 2010 with assets of about 32 billion USD.

Jilin province will pay more attention to the promotion of the scale production of hybrid power and electric vehicles for the new energy vehicles. FAW hybrid power buses and electric buses will reach the annual production of 1000 units within 3 years. In 2012, the new assets of new energy vehicles will achieve around 263.7 million USD.
